Roadside Rescue
What is Roadside Rescue?
Roadside Rescue is designed to help with the expense and inconvenience of a vehicle breakdown. If a current OKFB Member’s vehicle is stranded on the side of the road, simply call the rescue hotline at 833-957-OKFB (6532).
How does an OKFB Member get Roadside Rescue?
Roadside Rescue is provided by OKFB Insurance to every active Member of Oklahoma Farm Bureau beginning Dec. 1, 2020. Please remember to pay your membership bill on time in order to have continued access to Roadside Rescue during the next membership year.
I’m not an OKFB member. How do I get Roadside Rescue?
We’re glad you’re interested in worry-free travel. You can get Roadside Rescue two ways: join OKFB as a member or by obtaining insurance with OKFB Insurance. To be an OKFB member, individuals must have an Oklahoma address associated with the membership. For a full list of our products, please visit the website home page.
How does an active OKFB Member contact a Roadside Rescue provider?
For timely Roadside Rescue, call 833-957-OKFB (6532). Have your membership number available. Note that your membership number is not your insurance policy number. If you’re unsure of your member number, please call your local county OKFB office.
What do I do if I lost my Roadside Rescue card?
We suggest you take a picture of your card with your written member number on it, in case your card becomes damaged or lost. If you lose the card, you can still call the Roadside Rescue service number to receive service, as long as you are an active OKFB member.
What does the Roadside Rescue Program include?
- Towing Disabled Auto
- When necessary, covered OKFB Member’s disabled vehicle will be towed up to 15 miles to the nearest qualified service facility or destination of Member’s choice.
- Battery Jump Start Service
- If a battery failure occurs, a jump start will be applied to start the covered OKFB Member’s vehicle.
- Flat Tire Assistance

- Includes the removal of the covered OKFB Member’s vehicle’s flat tire and replacement with spare tire.
- If no spare is available, the vehicle will be towed to the nearest qualified service facility or destination of Member’s choice.

- Emergency Fuel and Fluids Service
- An emergency supply of up to 3 gallons of gas, oil, fluid and water will be delivered to the covered OKFB Member if their vehicle is in immediate need.
- OKFB Member must pay for the fuel upon delivery.
- Unlock Service
- Rescue gaining entry to vehicle if covered OKFB Member’s keys are locked inside the vehicle.
- Covered OKFB Member must provide ID and proof of vehicle ownership.
- Note: The cost of replacement keys is not covered.

How much does it cost?
The Roadside Rescue Program is a free service from OKFB Insurance for all active OKFB members. As an insurance company, we care about ensuring that our members’ safely arrive at their destinations.
Are there any out of pocket costs?
In the event that a supported service is not available through the administrator, an OKFB Member may receive a refund of payments made for services received independently – up to $75 per occurrence benefit. For further information, please see Terms and Conditions.
What are the Roadside Rescue Program benefits/limitations?
- Up to $75 benefit per service
- Up to 15-mile tow
- Up to 3 occurrences per membership year
Do OKFB Members need to be in Oklahoma to receive Roadside Rescue?
No – members are supported in all 50 states and Canada through a preferred service network. OKFB Members have access to Roadside Rescue whenever and wherever they need it.
When is service available?
Starting Dec. 1, 2020, service is available 24/7/365.
How is this different from Roadside Assistance already offered by OKFB Insurance?
OKFB Insurance does offer additional Roadside Assistance on our auto insurance policies for an additional price. This paid Roadside Assistance policy addition includes more coverage beyond what free Roadside Rescue covers. If you are interested in additional coverage or have questions about your current paid Roadside Assistance policy, please reach out to your local agent.

Can a jet ski be placed on a boat insurance policy?
Yes, ask an OKFB agent about insuring your jet skis on a Boat Insurance policy.

Can I insure a building that’s under construction at any time throughout the construction process?

Can I file a claim online?
If you do not need immediate claims assistance, you can create an initial claims report by logging into the My Insurance portal.
How can I find previous claims I have made on a policy?
You can access your claims history by signing into the My Insurance Portal or by contacting your OKFB agent.
How do I check the status of my claim?

What do I do if I need to submit a claim?
We offer a number of convenient ways to begin reporting a new insurance claim.

Who do I contact if I have questions about claims?

Commercial Umbrella
Do my underlying primary liability policies have to be written with OFB in order to write the Commercial Umbrella with OFB?
Yes. Check with your agent to quote Commercial Umbrella along with Commercial General Liability and Commercial Auto.
Condominium
Are higher limits available for types of personal property that are capped at certain limits in the policy such as guns, jewelry and furs?
Yes, higher limits are available for an additional premium.
Is personal property covered if it’s in my car or somewhere other than the primary residence?
Yes, personal property subject to policy limitations and exclusions is covered anywhere in the world. Any personal property at a residence other your residence premises is subject to 10% of the total insured limit of personal property.
Exactly what kind of property is insurable on a condominium homeowners policy?
A condominium policy is for an individual family unit separately owned from the interior surfaces inward. It does not cover the building itself that the condo unit is contained in. The condo association typically covers the building, but check with your association for specifics on your situation. A townhouse or row house which is owned individually from the ground up to the roof should be written on a regular homeowners policy rather than a condo policy.
Contractors Equipment
Are hand tools insurable as contractor’s equipment?
Tools like electric drills or nail guns are eligible, but regular hammers, wrenches, socket sets, etc. are not eligible for this policy. Generally, if the equipment or tool has a serial number, it’s eligible for coverage as contractor’s equipment. Limited coverage is available for your manual hand tools off premises on a Commercial Property policy.
Can I put a separate limit on each tool?
Yes, individual item limits are required. You will need to provide the current value of each item you wish to insure.
Dwelling Fire - Owner Occupied
Does Dwelling Fire mean the dwelling would only be covered for fire and nothing else?
No, the dwelling will also be covered for other causes of loss, depending on the policy form that you buy. An OKFB agent can explain to you what causes of loss are covered under the different forms.
Dwelling Fire - Tenant Occupied
Does Dwelling Fire mean the dwelling would only be covered for fire and nothing else?
No, the dwelling will also be covered for other causes of loss, depending on the policy form that you buy. An OKFB agent can explain to you what causes of loss are covered under the different forms.
Would a Dwelling Fire – Tenant Occupied policy insure houses that I “flip” for resale?
No, this policy is specifically designed for dwellings that are occupied by renters. However, an OKFB agent may have options available through one of our brokerage partners to insure unoccupied remodels intended for resale. Contact your local agent for more information.

Can I buy a Farm & Ranch policy if I own an acreage but don’t really farm or raise livestock?
Farm & Ranch is a specialized policy to meet the insurance needs of a farming or ranching operations. However, a Homeowners policy can be written for a house on an acreage.
If my farm operation is small, how do I know if I should have a Homeowners policy or a Farm & Ranch policy?
An OKFB agent will be able to help you determine which policy fits your situation the best. However, there are some things that are strong indicators that you need a Farm & Ranch policy instead of a Homeowners.
Any of the following indicators would likely result in needing a Farm & Ranch policy:
- Farming or ranching provides a steady stream of income.
- You have a farm employee(s).
- You have a farm tagged automobile.
- You have a farm tax ID number.
- You own and use agricultural production equipment.
Is personal property covered if it’s in my car or somewhere other than the primary residence?
Yes, personal property subject to policy limitations and exclusions is covered anywhere in the world. Any personal property at a residence other your residence premises is subject to 10% of the total insured limit of personal property.
Why is there a separate policy specifically for implements when I can just insure them on the Farm & Ranch policy?
You can certainly insure most your implements on a Farm & Ranch policy. instead. However, a Farm Implement policy offers broader coverage when compared to the Farm & Ranch policy. An OKFB agent can explain the differences of each to help you make the right coverage decision.
Would my farm/ranch employees be covered for their personal belongings on a Farm & Ranch policy?
No, your farm or ranch employees would need their own policy to cover their personal property.
Farm & Ranch Umbrella
Can I get an umbrella policy over my auto policy only?
No, an underlying Farm & Ranch policy type is always required.
Do my underlying primary liability policies have to be written with OFB in order to write the Umbrella with OFB?
While that is certainly preferred, we will place an Umbrella over policies with other companies subject to policy terms and their financial strength as determined by AM Best. When underlying auto policies are written through another company, the Umbrella policy is subject to additional charges.
Farm Auto
Are my farm employees allowed to drive my insured farm automobiles?
Yes, if their driving record is acceptable. You can easily provide their driver’s license information to your OKFB agent to add them as approved drivers.
Can a farm use truck tractor be written on a Farm Auto policy?
No, but a qualifying farm use truck tractor may be written on a Special Vehicle Farm Use Tractor/Trailer policy.
Can I put all my farm autos on the same policy with my tractor trailer rig?
The farm use tractor trailer rig is insured on a Special Vehicle policy, and only tractors with an articulating 5th wheel and the corresponding semi trailers may be insured on this policy. Other farm service trucks can be insured on a Farm Auto policy.
How do I find my VIN number?
The easiest way to find your VIN number is to look into the lower corner of the windshield on the driver’s side from the outside of your car. Also, on drivers side front door or door post. If you’re still not able to locate your VIN, click here.
Farm Fire
Does a Farm Fire policy cover liability?
No, but we recommend you speak to an OKFB agent. A Farm Liability policy may be written to address your liability coverage needs.
Farm Implement
What kind of farm implements can be insured?
Tractors, combines, hay balers and cotton pickers are a few examples of mechanized farm implements that are insurable. Chat with an OKFB agent for more specific information on your owned farm implements.

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission told me I need a “Form E” for my farm use truck tractor. Can Farm Bureau provide that?

Does Farm Bureau offer financing for the purchase of automobiles?

Where can I find my policy number?
The automobile policy number is captured in the heading “Policy Number” on the upper right-hand corner of the first page of the Premier Automobile Declarations. It is written as a series of three letters followed by six numbers (Example: PAU123456). An automobile policy number is also shown on the Security Verification form in the box labeled “Policy Number” which is located at the bottom right of the form on the same line as the Effective Date and Expiration Date.
The policy number on property policies such as Homeowners, Farm and Ranch, Farm Fire, AgSecurity Fire, etc. is located on the top left of the Declarations Page, just above Policyholder Name.
In addition, you can log into My Insurance (which will initially require setting up an account). Upon doing so, a list of policies is displayed, showing the status of the policy as well as the policy number.
Can I get a quote online?

Do I get a personal agent?

Are modular homes or manufactured homes eligible for the Mobile Homeowners policy?
Modular homes are made of prefabricated sections that are then assembled at the site of the home, and they are not eligible for Mobile Homeowners but may be eligible for a regular homeowners policy. Manufactured homes are a type of mobile home that are built to HUD specifications implemented in 1976, and they should be written on the Mobile Homeowners policy.

Do I use a Motorhome policy for a travel trailer that is pulled by my truck?
Personal use campers or travel trailers that are not self-propelled can just be added to an OKFB Personal Auto policy rather than writing a new Motorhome policy.
Motorcycle
Is coverage available if custom equipment is installed on my motorcycle?
Coverage is available for qualified customized equipment added to your motorcycle. Be sure to let your OKFB agent know about the custom equipment when requesting a quote.
Is it possible to insure a factory made motor tricycle on a motorcycle policy?
Yes, a factory-made motor tricycle may be eligible for coverage on the motorcycle policy.
New Farm Structure Under Construction

Off Road Vehicle
Would an Off-road Vehicle policy be used regardless of if my vehicle is for recreational use or farm use?
Yes, both recreational and farm use ORVs may be insured on this policy. However, an ORV used in a business other than farming is not eligible. A business use ORV may be insurable on a different policy. Contact an OKFB agent to assist you in finding an ORV policy that suits your needs.
Personal Auto
Can I put all my farm autos on the same policy with my tractor trailer rig?
The farm use tractor trailer rig is insured on a Special Vehicle policy, and only tractors with an articulating 5th wheel and the corresponding semi trailers may be insured on this policy. Other farm service trucks can be insured on a Farm Auto policy.
Does a truck tractor have to be registered as a farm vehicle?
Yes. A farm tag is required, and there should be no hauling for any type of consideration. Truck tractors for commercial use are not eligible for this policy. However, an OKFB agent can help provide options to insure your commercial use truck tractor.
